An update on the deluxe paperback edition of My City of Dreams:
We’ve had some challenges. The high-quality paper TidePool Press prefers became scarce in 2021, causing delays. Then there was a fire at the plant that makes the covers. Then the computer systems at the press were hacked. But we are happy to report the galleys made it back to TidePool last week. We anticipate the paperback, with a new Reader’s Guide, will be out in January 2023.
The hard copy did well. Audiobook and Kindle sales have been solid. We are excited, as the paperback release gives us an opportunity to introduce the book to new readers, and the possibility of new book reviews and events, which will also expand our reach. We hope you can recommend the book to friends, acquaintances, and institutions.
